CaseShare is an invite-only platform that connects licensed attorneys for case referrals. By creating an account you agree to the terms below. This is a placeholder document — final language will be prepared by counsel before public launch.

1. Eligibility

You confirm that you are an attorney in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar, and that the bar number you provide is your own. We may suspend any account that fails verification.

2. Referral fees and compliance

Referral fees you negotiate with other attorneys are between you and them. CaseShare does not take a percentage of any legal fee. All referral arrangements must comply with ABA Model Rule 1.5(e) and any additional rules of the jurisdictions you practice in, including written client consent where required.

3. Platform fee

We charge a flat $49 USD per signed match. At day 30 both the sharing and receiving attorneys are asked whether the client signed an engagement letter. The fee is invoiced when (a) both confirm “signed,” or (b) one confirms “signed” and the other does not respond within a 14-day grace window. If both confirm “not signed” — or neither responds within 60 days of the match — there is no charge. Mismatched answers are reviewed by CaseShare staff.

4. Honest verification

Falsely answering the day-30 verification — for example, claiming a client did not sign in order to avoid the platform fee when in fact they did — is a material breach of these terms. Staying silent to dodge the fee is treated the same way: silence past the 14-day grace counts as agreement with the other attorney's answer, so a receiving attorney who actually signed cannot avoid the charge by ignoring the prompt. CaseShare maintains per-attorney signing-rate records and audits suspicious patterns against the platform's message history.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these terms, including fraudulent verification answers or violations of your jurisdiction's ethics rules. You may close your account at any time from settings.
